How does licensing work?▼
Vortek licences are validated using your SAP CPI tenant's artifact metadata as a unique anchor. No external licence servers are required. Simply enter your licence key in the Vortek admin console after deployment.
Can I upgrade my plan later?▼
Yes, you can upgrade at any time. When upgrading from Starter to Professional, the SIEM module is activated immediately and begins collecting security events. Your existing SFTP data is preserved.
Is there a free trial?▼
We offer a 3 Month free trial of the Professional plan with full functionality. Contact us to get started — no credit card required for the trial period.
What SAP BTP costs are additional?▼
Vortek runs on your existing BTP subaccount. You'll need Cloud Foundry runtime and PostgreSQL (Hyperscaler) service instances. These are standard BTP services billed separately by SAP.
Do you offer volume discounts?▼
Yes. Enterprise plan pricing is custom and includes volume discounts for multiple subaccounts or tenants. SAP consulting partners can also enquire about OEM/white-label licensing with partner-friendly pricing.
What payment methods do you accept?▼
For direct licensing, we accept credit card, bank transfer, and purchase orders.
What support is included with my license?▼
Each standard license includes 8 hours of priority support per year per tool. The SFTP + SIEM Bundle includes 16 hours of priority support per year. Additional support beyond your annual allowance is billed at $150 per hour. Support covers configuration assistance, troubleshooting, and best-practice guidance — all delivered directly by the Vortek engineering team, not outsourced helpdesk staff.
We deliberately separate support from license cost to keep pricing fair. Most customers never exceed their included hours — bundling unlimited support into the base price would mean lighter users subsidising heavier ones. By unbundling, we keep the entry price low for everyone and only charge those who genuinely need more hands-on help.
